论述了机械产品中艺术设计的目的和应遵循的原则。以外观色彩设计为例，说明了艺术设计对提高产品外观质量、市场竞争力所起的重要作用。
The goal and principle of the art design in mechanical products are discussed in the paper. The imPOrtance of the art design to improve the external quality and the market competition of the products is illustrated by the example of the external color design.
