Experience of Application of GEMINI MK Ⅱ in Total Knee Arthroplasty

摘要 目的探讨GEMINI MKⅡ全膝关节置换术(TKA)的临床应用体会。方法从2003年11月~2008年9月,对102例(143膝)膝关节疾患行GEMINI MKⅡ全膝关节置换术,男35例,女67例。右侧78膝,左侧65膝。结果平均随访28.3个月(6~49个月),应用HSS膝关节评分系统进行分析:优99膝(69.2%),良34膝(23.8%),中10膝(7.0%),优良率93.0%。结论GEMINI MKⅡ全膝关节置换术能有效缓解膝关节严重疾患所致疼痛,明显改善膝关节功能。手术效果取决于适应证的选择、假体的设计改进及正确选择、精湛的手术技术和严格的术后康复等诸多方面的协同。 Objective To investigate clinical application of the GEMINI MK Ⅱ in total knee arthroplasty (TKA).Methods From November 2003 to September 2008,102 patients (143 knees) including 35 males and 67 females at age range of 52~85 years (mean 67.1 years) were treated with total knee arthroplasty by using GEMINI MK Ⅱ system, 78 right knees and 65 left knees.Results The patients were followed up for mean 28.3 months (6-49 months). All were evaluated by the HSS knee rating score system,99 knees had excellent results(69.2%),34 good(23.8%), 10 fair(7.0%),excellent and good rate was 93.0%.Conclusion The application of GEMINI MK Ⅱ in total knee arthroplasty can effectively alleviate the pain caused by the serious illness of knee, and improve the function of knee significantly. Clinical results depend on the choice of indications, the improving design of prosthesis and the correct choice of prosthesis, exquisite surgery technique and strict postoperative rehabilitation, and many other synergies.
