An Analysis of Bangladesh Essential Medicines Policy and its Inspiration for China

目的:总结孟加拉国基本药物政策制定与推行的经验,为建立基本药物制度提供参考。研究内容:分析孟加拉国基本药物政策的主要内容及其实施效果,归纳其成效与经验。研究结果:孟加拉国拥有较为全面的国家药物政策、较为完善的药物遴选标准和较为严格的价格控制措施。

Objectives： To analyze problems within the entire process of production, distribution and utilization of essential medicines in China, and draw lessons from the experience of Bangladesh to provide reference to policy makers to establish essential medicines policy in China. Content： The situation of essential medicines policy in China is described. The main content and effectiveness of essential medicines policy in Bangladesh is analyzed. Method： Combined qualitative and quantitative analytical methods, methods of literature review, quantitative description and qualitative interview were comprehensively employed to find out the situation of es, sential medicines policy in China and Bangladesh. Results： China has not yet established a systematical, mature national essential medicines policy with essential drug list as the core. For essential medicines list, the maneuverability of criteria for essential medicines is not strong. Bangladesh has comparatively comprehensive national essential medicines policy, relatively complete criteria for drug selection and comparatively strict measures in price control.
