摘要
本文从我国外语教学研究现实与研究目标之间的差距、外语教学研究中存在的障碍和疑惑,以及亟需解决的外语教学难题等三个方面分析了外语教学研究中存在的若干问题;进而提出,针对我国外语教学研究中存在的若干问题,需要开展本土化外语教学研究。本土化外语教学研究的实质是本土化、个性化、实用化,同时注意研究的综合性、系统性和理论性;开展本土化外语教学研究要本着本土化研究课题为主的原则、突出特殊性的原则,源于实践高于实践的原则,定性研究与定量研究相结合的原则。个性化研究是对跟风、扎堆式研究的一种否定和挑战,对于扭转目前国内外语界过度推崇国外语言学及外语教学理论的偏激做法,构建具有中国特色外语教学理论体系以更加有效地指导我国极具特殊性的外语教学实践具有重要意义。
This article presents an analysis of the problems that have hassled foreign language teaching researchers in China. It is proposed that a solution to these problems should lie in what might be termed as domestically based and oriented researches on the foreign language teaching in China. The domestically based and oriented research is supposed to be carried out in accordance with the principles of domestic orientation, particularity emphasis, practice-based theorization and a combination of quality and quantity research methodology. It might be of significance to remedy the overdosed Occidentalism in the FLT research.
