依据关联翻译论探讨汉诗英译的凝炼美

A Discussion on Laconic Beauty in Translation of the Classical Chinese Poetry In the Light of Relevance Translation Theory

中国古典诗词是语言艺术的结晶。它言简意赅，语近情遥，寓形象和感情于含蓄而空灵的语言之中，形成凝炼美。近年来，我国古典诗词翻译取得了丰硕成果，但对凝炼美的翻译却少有研究，本文通过分析炼字、炼句和炼意等特殊语言结构和表现手法，从关联翻译理论的角度来探讨凝炼美的翻译，希望能为汉英比较翻译研究带来一些启示。

Classical Chinese poetry is the gem of language. It is concise and implicit but emotionally profound. Its laconic beauty is formed with images and emotions conveyed by implicative and intangible words. At present, substantial research results have been yielded in the translation of classical Chinese poetry but the translation of laconic beauty has been largely ignored. In the light of the relevance translation theories, this paper attempts to discuss the translation of laconic beauty through analyzing special constructions of language and techniques of expression. It is hoped that this article will contribute to the study of comparative translation between Chinese and English.
