摘要
根据《南澳洲ESL课程标准及要求》,ESL的教学目的是使学生能够利用各种情景语境和社会文化语境中的语言潜势,成功理解和创作语篇。因此,ESL的教学包括两部分:语境中语篇的教学和语言本身的教学。语境中语篇的教学包括语篇的文化语境分析和情景语境分析;语言本身的教学包括体现体裁的语言的教学、体现语场的语言的教学、体现语旨的语言的教学和体现语式的语言的教学。
According to South Australia Curriculum, Standards and Accountability Framework : English as Second Language, learners of English are concerned with successfully understanding and producing a range of texts using the full potential of the language across dive/se situational and socio-cultural contexts. Accordingly l English teaching is organized through two strands : text in context and language. Teaching text in context refers to the analysis of the text' s socio-cultural context and its situational context. The language strand outlines the choices available in the English language system to express what is described in the text in context, matching the four components: genre, field, tenor and mode.
