Examination and Evaluation of Legionella Contamination in Central Air-conditioning Systems in Dongyang

摘要 目的了解东阳市中央空调系统军团菌污染状况,为预防和控制军团菌病提供依据。方法于2006-2008年采集东阳市区22家公共场所中央空调冷却塔水和冷凝水118份,进行军团菌分离、鉴定和血清学分型。结果118份水样中有39份检出军团菌,总检出率为33.05%(39/118)。2006-2008年的阳性检出率分别为21.62%,30.77%,51.72%。39份水样中分离到55株军团菌,其中嗜肺军团菌占50.90%(28/55),血清型别多样化,同一份水样同时检出2个或2个以上型别的占总检出水样的20.00%(11/55),存在多重污染现象。结论东阳市区公共场所中央空调系统军团菌污染严重,需引起足够重视,以防军团菌病的流行。 Objective To investigate the Legionella contamination in central air - conditioning systems in Dongyang for providing evidence for preventing and eontrolling of Legionnaires' disease. Methods 118 samples of condensate and cooling tower water in central air - conditioning systems were collected from 22 publie places in Dongyang from 2006 to 2008. Then Legionella was isolated, identified and classified by serological typing. Results The total detection rate of Legionella was 33.05 % (39/118 ) and the positive rates were 21.62% , 30.77% and 51.72% from 2006 to 2008 respectively. 55 strains of Legionella with a variety of serotypes were separated from 39 water samples, including 28 strains of Legionella Pneumophila (50. 90% ). There was multiple contamination that more than one serotype of Legionella was detected in one same water sample ( 11/55 ) with the percentage of 20. 00%. Conclusion The central air - conditioning systems of publie places in Dongyang are severely contaminated, which must be paid more attention to for the prevention of Legionnaires ' disease.
