面向汉英平行语料库建设的四大名著中文底本研究

A Parallel Corpus-oriented Study of the Source Texts of English Translations of the Four Classical Novels

介绍了《水浒传》《三国演义》《西游记》《红楼梦》的版本问题,及入选《古典文学四大名著汉英平行语料库》汉、英文本的作(译)者、成书时间、内容和底本的基本情况,比较了四大名著各英译底本间的异同,在此基础上对入库的中文语料的选择问题进行了初步探讨,通过深入地比较、研究、分析、筛选及语料的标注,为语料库中文语料的选择提供了详细的理论参考。

Based on a brief introduction of the different versions of the four vernacular Chinese classics, i.e., Shuihu Zhuan （Water Margins）, Sanguo Yanyi （Romance of the Three Kingdoms）, Xiyou Ji （Journey to the West） and Honglou Meng （Red Chamber Dream）, and their English translations, this paper made a comparison/contrast between the source texts of the four classics and their respective translations. It is hoped that this comparison/contrast should serve as a theoretical justification for the inclusion of the target Chinese versions of the four classics as the source texts for the construction of a Chinese-English parallel corpus of the four classics and their respective English translations for the purpose of corpus-based, large-scale studies and enquiries of the four classics and their English translations.
