A Study on Discourse Anaphora Based on Cognitive Schema

摘要回指分析是语篇研究的重要组成部分,作为现代语言学理论研究的中心课题之一,语言学家们已经从各种不同的研究视角对回指进行过探讨。基于认知图式理论,对回指现象进行了详细分析。从结果来看,认知图式比其他的理论视角有更强的解释力,它可以解释其他理论无法解释的复杂的回指关系,对于模糊的、有歧义的回指关系,认知图式也能做出说明。而且通过分析回指的认知图式,我们可以更深刻地认识语篇回指的认知机制。回指关系的理解过程即是相关认知图式被激活、匹配、选择的过程,认知图式的空位和默认值为回指理解提供必要的信息。 Anaphora analysis is an important part of discourse study. As one of the central subjects in modern linguistics, anaphora has been researched from various perspectives. Based on cognitive schema theory, the present paper carries out a specific analysis about anaphora. The results show that cognitive schema theory possesses a stronger explanative power than previous approaches and it can explain more complicated anaphora phenomena and even provide reasonable explanation for vague and ambiguous a- naphora. Through analyzing anaphora based on cognitive schema, we may obtain a deeper understanding about the cognitive mechanism of discourse anaphora. The processing of anaphora involves the activating, matching and choosing of related schemata, during which the slots and default values of the schema provides necessary information.
