China's coal industry enters into strategic readjustment period

从开发布局、产运销格局、产业链、开发总量等角度分析了"十一五"期间中国煤炭工业发展的特点及其深刻变化。提出调整产业布局和运行方式、建立煤炭储备基地、充分利用国内外两个资源、切实转变经济发展方式、解决煤炭工业战略性调整的政策性问题,是煤炭工业可持续发展的战略性选择。

An analysis is carried out in this paper on the characteristics of the coal industry development of this country during the eleventh ＂Five-Year-Plan＂ period from angles such as the distribution of coal development, configuration of coal production, coal transportation and coal marketing, industrial chains linked with the coal industry and coal development intensity in this country as well as the significant changes in all these aspects during this period. According to this paper, readjustments on distribution and arrangement of the coal industry and their mode of operation, establishment of coal stock bases, taking full advantage of both domestic resources and resources abroad, transforming the economic growth pattern and formulating policies stimulating the strategic readjustment in China＇s coal industry. All these form the strategic choices for the sustainable development future of the coal industry of this country.
