ERP is based on the information technology,which utilizes the systematization management thought to integrate the enterprise internal resources,to make plans for purchasing, production, cost, inventory, sales, transportation, so as to achieve the best and the optimal resources combination. It can provide a management platform of decision - making method for the enterprises. As confronted with the increasingly fierce competition from internal and external, only the mining enterprises who can implement ERP quickly and effectively may win the competition. This paper describes the several key areas of implementing ERP in mining enterprises, so as to enhance the success rate of ERP software. The research results can also be used in other mines.
