Ginkgo Varietal Difference in Economic Characters as Related to Soil Types:Ⅱ. Effect of Soil Conditions on Nut Characteristics

对大佛手银杏和大梅核银杏经济性状与土壤条件的相关性作了研究，不同土壤因子对银杏经济性状有不同方式、不同程度的影响，但没有达到显著水平．同一土壤因子对这两个银杏品种经济性状的影响不一定相同；影响两品种同一经济性状的土壤因子也不一定相同．生产上应找出影响各品种（类型）经济性状的主要因子．

The studied ginkgo cultivars included 'dafozhi' and 'dameihai'. Their nut economiccharacters as related to the soil conditions were analysed. Results showed that the soil factorsworked on the ginkgo nuts in a certain way and to a certain extent, but no significant influencewus found. The same influence on the nut economic characters of both cultivars was not alwaysfound to have been inserted by the same soil factor, nor was the same economic characetr of bothcultivars necessarily affected by the same soil element. Therefore, in practice great care should betaken to locate the leading soil factors that have an influence on the economic characters of eachcultivar or cultivar type.
