摘要
本文将带有汉语、荷兰语口音的英语元音与美国英语元音进行了可知性对比。作者建构了三组听音人的元音的混淆结构图,利用比较分析理论对比三种语言元音目录并结合语言感知模型进行分析,发现了学习者在英语学习中因母语干扰形成的语音感知盲点和混淆点。
This paper presents a detailed analysis of the confusion structure in the perception by Chinese, Dutch and American listeners of vowel contrasts in English produced by two Chinese, two Dutch and two American speakers and listeners (36 listeners per nationality, in all nine speaker-listener combinations). The results reveal characteristically different confusion patterns for each speaker and listener group because of the L1 vowel pattern respectively. Much of the confusion structure can be accounted for in terms of native-language interference. The resulting acoustic confusion structure maps quite regularly onto the perceptual confusion structure. The relative strengths of the acoustic parameters in cuing Chinese and Dutch accent in English can be determined.
