The Studies of Tang and Song Ci Under the Influence of Modern Western Literary Theories——The Studies of Tang and Song Ci in the English World

英语世界的词学研究从一开始就被置于西方文论的影响之下。英语世界的词学研究可分为20世纪六、七十年代的发展初期、八十年代的持续发展期和九十年代及其以后的繁荣期三个阶段，虽然每个阶段各有其侧重点，但在西方文论影响下进行的词学研究使其形成了自身独特的理论基础和方法体系，也为国内词学研究提供了丰富的借鉴。

The studies of Tang and Song Ci in the English world have always been under the influence of western literary theoties. The studies can be divided into three periods： the initial stage of development in the 60s and 70s, the stage of continuous development in the 80s and the flourishing stage in the 90s and the beginning of the new century. Although each period of the studies of Ci has its own characteristics, the studies have formed their own unique theoretical foundation and methodological system under the influence of western literary theories, which can provide rich examples for the Ci studies in China.
