珠三角农民工同乡聚居及其生成机制分析

A Study of the Off-farm Native Workers Inhabited together in the Pearl River Delta and the Forming Mechanisms

农民工同乡聚居给外来人口管理留下了隐患,已引起珠三角各地政府的高度关注。调查分析表明,缺乏专门训练的普通劳动者依靠地缘、血缘关系获取劳务信息进入珠三角从而形成扎堆就业,进而形成同乡初始聚居,并且在社会资本依赖和社区失灵两种因素作用下使得同乡聚居进一步稳定下来。农民工同乡聚居现象有利有弊,只要因势利导,措施得当,就能趋利避害。

Native off-farm workers inhabited together may present a potential problem for the administration of the migrant population and has aroused great concern from the local governments in the Pearl River Delta area. This paper is a sample survey made through questionnaires and interviews to investigate the present situation of off-farm workers inhabited around the Pearl River Delta's 9 cities. The survey analysis shows that ordinary workers who lack in professional training and who get labor requirement information to work at the Pearl River Delta through common geographical and blood relationships tend to inhabit and work together. Then,due to the working of social capital dependence and the lack of community control,this type of inhabitation of native off-farm workers has got further stabilized. This type of inhabitation phenomenon has pros and cons. If we have suitable measures to deal with it,we can take advantages of it and avoid the problems.
