Authors presents general steps and methods for processing engineering drawings.In the procedure of engineering drawings processing,it is very important to recognize and fit the primitives of the image.In the experiments,a method for recognizing different primitives such as straight lines,dashed entities,curves,and a new algorithm for fitting curve lines are developed.It has been demonstrated that our methods are computationally simple and efficient.
