Thirtysomething Zhou Weiyan was once a successful businesswoman.But that was before 2006,when she began volunteering at Jet Li One Foundation Project(One Foundation),a charity established by Li Lianjie(best known as Jet Li,the martial arts artist and international film star) to provide relief to victims of natural disasters,and to help youth cope with mental health issues under the umbrella of the Red Cross Society of China.Zhou is dedicated to the charity,and she acts as the foundation’s executive chairwoman—but she refuses to accept a salary.
