The paper introduces the concept of Web 2. 0, analyzes the common problems in novelty assessment process and provides corresponding countermeasures in using Web 2.0, including application of really simple syndication, Wiki, tag and mailing lists. It points out that utilizing Web 2. 0 may improve the communication between novelty assessment staffs and medical staffs, enhance the qual- ity of sci-tech novelty assessment in hospitals.
