Machine learning technique in natural language processing is a hot research, In this paper, we introduce, analysis and evaluation one of machine learning methods - Instance-based Learning briefly, and analyze the results on the experimental of the Shallow Parsing, which is one of the key links in Natural Language Processing. In the end, it＇s application in the natural language processing is discussed.
