Considering the current status of Tianjin metro entrusting others to maintain equipment system,the paper analyzes the risks involved in the present entrust trend and countermeasures. It explains the necessity of entrusting others for maintenance based on the analyses of maintenance costs contrast between self-maintenance and entrusted ones. It defines the maintenance modes based on comprehensive risk analysis of the entrusted maintenance. Corresponding strategies are implemented according to the mode orientation that Tianjin metro and urban rail transit of other cities may take for reference to control risks for entrusting others to maintain equipment system.
