Taking the Scientific Outlook on Development as the Guiding Principle in the CPC History Studies

科学发展观是一个宏观层面上具有全局性指导意义的科学理论体系,是马克思主义关于发展的世界观和方法论在当代中国的集中体现。它的第一要义是发展,核心是以人为本,基本要求是全面协调可持续,根本方法是统筹兼顾。以科学发展观指导中共历史研究,就是将科学发展观的这些理论精髓和"内核",运用于中共历史的具体研究之中,重新审视中共历史学科发展中存在的某些问题,以更好地促进该学科的良性发展。

The scientific outlook on development is a scientific theoretical system with overall guiding significance at the macroscopic level and a concentrated expression of Marxist worldview and methodology regarding development. It takes development as its essence, putting people first as its core, comprehensive, balanced and sustainable development as its basic development, and overall consideration as its fundamental approach. Taking the scientific outlook of development as the guiding principle in the CPC history studies means that the theoretical quintessence and ＂inner core＂ of the scientific outlook of development should be applied to the specific studies of the CPC history and reexamine some problems existing in the development of the discipline of CPC history in order to promote the virtuous development of this discipline.
