摘要 本文讨论了LTE规模商用时间问题及EV-DO与LTE长期共存的必然性,指出在已经确定LTE作为CDMA网络长期演进的标准的情况下,CDMA运营商仍然必须大力发展EV-DO,并且应在EV-DORevA的基础上尽快升级部署RevB,并最终向LTE演进。本文还给出了网络的升级方式、部署方案和演进策略。 This article discusses the timing problems of LTE's mass commercialization and the inevitability of long-term coexistence for EV-DO and LTE, and points out that CDMA operators still have to develop EV-DO even when LTE had been decided. The article also gives the strategic proposal that CDMA operators should upgrade their EV-DO Rev A networks to Rev B prior to the introduction of LTE.
