The Binding Principle and Text Restoration of Shilun Bamboo Slips

上博《诗论》竹简编联和文本复原处于混乱状态的原因很多,但由竹简"留白"所引发的简制之争是其关键。我们认为《诗论》"留白简"与"满写简"之间不存在"简制"上的根本差异,《诗论》竹简编联和文本复原工作应该在依据"文义"及《诗论》作者"评《诗》思想"的大原则之下进行,同时需要充分兼顾"句式"、"文例"、"篇名组合"、"竹简残断类型"等具体因素,不断认识和把握其思想脉络,这是《诗论》更深层次研究展开的前提和基础。

Though there are many reasons why the binding and text restoration of Shilun bamboo slips in Shanghai Museum is still in confusion, the debate on slip system due to the ＂blank slips＂ is the key point. We don＇t think that any fundamental difference exists in terms of slip system between the ＂blank slips＂ and the ＂written slips＂ for Shilun. The binding and text restoration ought to be conducted according to ＂textual meaning＂ and the author＇s intention to comment on Poems, and meanwhile, such factors as ＂syntactical patterns＂, ＂text examples＂, ＂title grouping＂ and ＂broken slip types＂ should be taken into consideration. In this way, the sequence of thought in Shilun can be perceived and grasped, and the Shilun slips can be better bound and its text better restored. All this work is the premise and foundation for further studies on Shilun.
