金文所见西周中晚期周王室对“师”官的赏赐

The Award Granted to "Shi" Officers in Late Western Zhou Dynasty as Seen in Bronze Inscriptions

绝大部分情况下,西周中晚期金文中的"师"官的身份是武职军官。这一时期,西周王室对于"师"官及其家族的赏赐次数繁,规格高。对"师"官的频繁赏赐,是由于国内政治形势的需要,以及"师"官在对外战争中发挥的重要作用所决定的。对"师"官的频繁赏赐,加强了西周中晚期王室的军事力量,促进了以"师"为核心的军人势力的迅速膨胀。

The ＂shi＂ officers that appeared in bronze inscriptions from the middle and late Western Zhou dynasty were mainly army officers. The royal family frequently granted high--level awards. The frequent awarding shows that these officers played an important role in wars. It strengthened the military power of the royal family, but at the same time greatly expand th＇e officers＇ influence with ＂shi＂ at the core.
