摘要
虚拟校园是虚拟现实技术在数字化校园中的具体应用。通过虚拟校园,人们可以在计算机上虚拟地游览、规划实际校园的场景。从地物对象几何建模、虚拟环境可视化及系统显示速度优化方面,讨论了虚拟校园三维仿真系统的设计和开发技术。针对不同地物模型的特点,使用了不同的LOD简化算法及纹理映射技术,并研究了场景的可见性优化算法,提高场景漫游速度,并以某校区及其周围的场景,实现了虚拟校园的动态漫游。
The virtual campus is the concrete application of the virtual reality technology in the digitized campus. Through the virtual campus, people can visit and plan the scene of real campus on the computer. The paper discusses the design and development technology of virtual campus through geographical objects modeling, virtual environment visualization and system display rate optimization. According to the feature of geographical objects, LOD simplification algorithm and texture mapping technology is used. In order to improve the walkthrongh rate, the scene visualization culling is used, and we develop the virtual campus system of our school.
