基于C/S结构的GIS技术在有线电视网络管理中的应用

Application of GIS based on the C/S Environment in CATV Network Management

随着有线电视的迅速发展,规模扩大,网络的设计繁杂,网络资源管理与维护的工作量不断增大,目前传统的数据库和图纸的管理远远不能满足有线电视网络管理工作的需求。GIS作为强有力的信息管理技术,可以把有线电视的各类信息置于客观可视的空间布局中,进行便捷的查询、编辑、管理与分析。以广州市花都区有线电视网络GIS管理系统为例,从网络架构设计、数据库设计、功能设计等方面探讨基于C/S结构的GIS技术在有线电视网络管理中的应用。

With the rapid development of the CATV network, the management and maintenance of equipments as well as the design of network will become more and more complicated. The management that relies on docu- ments and RDS can no longer fulfill the requirement of the management of CATV network at present. GIS is an advanced information technology which can manage all kinds of information in the network of CATV. A visual spatial environment is formed in the software, which can provide a variety of functions such as spatial selec- tion, editing and analysis. This paper takes CATV network GIS Management System in HuaDu District, Guan- gzhou as an example to discuss the application of GIS in the C/S network to the CATV network management. The designs of network database and functions are also discussed in this paper.
