摘要
民初教育部于1912年7月10日至8月10日在北京召开临时教育会议,试图通过政府与民间交流的方式制定民国教育的大政方针。会议讨论了教育宗旨、学校系统和各级各类学校规程等许多重大问题,这些提案成为民初教育改革重大举措的刍型,对民国教育影响深远。从教育现代化的视角考察,可以说这是蔡元培提倡教育决策民主化的最初尝试。
A provisional education-conference was held in Beijing from July 10,1912 to August 10,1912 by the Ministry of Education in the early Republic of China, which tried to draw up the major educational policies of the Republic of China through communication between government and civilians. Many significant issues such as the aims of education, school systems and many other types of school regulations were discussed, which became the prototypes of many major measures of educational reform, and had a great impact on the education development of the Republic of China. From the perspective of education modernization, it could be said that it was an initial attempt to the democratization of educational decision-making advocated by Cai Yuan-pei.
