The hazard of mechanical accident was introduced, and the causes of mechanical accident in coal mine production were analyzed. The attentions in the purchase, installation and debugging process of equipments were summarized. A series of safety measure was put forward, and some countermeasures to reduce mechanical accident were achieved to improve the efficiency of work safety in coal mine.
