意识形态是一定社会和文化的产物,翻译作为一种涉及到两种语言的跨文化社会实践活动,不可避免地要受到意识形态的影响和制约。意识形态与翻译呈互动的关系。意识形态影响翻译的层层面面,如影响译者对翻译文本的选择,影响译者所用的翻译策略等等。但不能将意识形态对于翻译的影响绝对化,意识形态对于翻译的影响是相对的。而将意识形态引入翻译研究让我们多了一个研究视角,是翻译研究的一个新的增长点,给翻译研究带来了丰硕的研究成果。
