摘要
采用中文和英文Stroop测验,检查了不同熟练水平大学生中英双语者在语言内(中中和英英)干扰和语言间(中英和英中)干扰条件下的抑制控制加工.结果发现:(1)熟练双语者在2种语言内条件下的干扰效应均明显小于不熟练双语者,提示双语学习可以明显提高双语者的语言抑制控制能力;(2)在中英语言间条件下没有出现不同熟练水平双语者的干扰效应差异,但在英中语言间条件下熟练双语者的干扰效应明显强于不熟练双语者,提示双语者在用目标语言表达时会受到来自非目标语言的竞争性抑制.本研究结果为双语词汇产生的抑制控制(IC)模型提供了更为直接的证据.
The present study examined the inhibitory control processing for Chinese-English bilingual students with differ- ent proficient levels using Chinese and English Stroop versions under conditions of intralingual ( Chinese-Chinese and English-English) and interlingual( Chinese-English and English-Chinese)interferences. The results showed (1)the in- terference effect for two intralingual conditions was smaller for the more proficient bilinguals than for the less proficient ones, indicating that bilingual learning could enhance the ability of language inhibitory control for bilinguals ; ( 2 ) there was on different effect of proficient levels on the interference of the condition of Chinese-English, but the more proficient bilingual bilinguals exhibited greater interlingual interference on the condition of Chinese-English than the less proficient ones did, suggesting that there could be a competitive inhibition from the non-target language when speaking with the tar- get language. These results provided some more direct evidence supporting the inhibitory control (IC) model involving lexical production in bilinguals.
