The effect of varying degree varicocele on serum inhibin B

目的探讨不同程度的精索静脉曲张(VC)对血清抑制素B的影响。方法经彩色多普勒超声(CDU)诊断为VC患者72名,根据蔓状静脉丛(PPV)的反流程度分为VCⅠ级,VCⅡ级,VCⅢ级。测定各级VC患者静脉血血清抑制素B的水平,并与无精索精索静脉正常生育组(对照组)作比较。结果VCⅠ级、VCⅡ级及VCⅢ级的血清抑制素B水平较对照组均有不同程度的下降,VCⅠ级与VCⅡ比较,血清抑制素B水平差异显著(P<0.05),VCⅡ级与VCⅢ级比较,血清抑制素B水平差异非常显著(P<0.01)。结论精索静脉曲张的程度越严重,血清抑制素B的水平下降越明显,进而影响生育更明显,早发现精索静脉曲张对治疗男性不育有指导意义。

Objective To investigate the effects of the varying degree varicocele（VC） on serum inhibin B.Methods A total of 72 cases of VC were diagnosed by scrotal color Doppler ultrasonography（CDU） and graded into 3 groups VCⅠ,VCⅡ and VCⅢ,according to the regurgitant volume of pampiniform plexus veins（PPV）.The levels of serum inhibin B of the patients were determined and compared with the non-spermatic varicocele and normal fertility group（control group）.Results There was a varying decrease of the serum inhibin B of each grade of VC patients compared with the control group.The level of serum inhibin B of VCⅠ compared with the VCⅡ had a significant difference（P〈0.05）.Likely,the comparison of VCⅡ and VCⅢ in terms of the level of serum inhibin B showed siginificant difference（P〈0.01）.Conclusion The more serious the degree of VC,the more obvious reduction in the level of serum inhibin B,thereby,the effect on fertility is more obvious.Thus early detection of varicocele has guiding significance to the treatment of male infertility.
