AbstractThe author says that the appearance of Euro will bring Sino European trade relations developing chances as well as challenges. The chancws include reducing unequal phenomena in trade, reducing exchange rate risk, eliminating trade discrimination towad China, promoting Sino European trade brisk, and so on. The challenges include as follows. The comparative advantages of Chinese traditional export products will probably be weakened. Chinese export oriented enterprises will face high transferring costs and adjustments of their trade strategies. The Euro settling accounts risk will be exist in a long rum. The author puts forward the countermeasures as follows according to the above analysises. First, China should make good use of our advantages and avoid our disadvantages in foreign trade. Second, the export oriented firms should reduce their transferring costs. Third, avoid the risk as fully as possible. Finally, the firms should set up new trade strategies.
