摘要
北京现存民国以前的旧志有100种左右、1 000余卷,是古代北京文化的重要表现形式,现在又开始新编地方志,仅《北京志》和北京的18个区县志,总字数超过了1亿字,涉及的内容非常广泛,留存了大量北京历史上的资料,其内容囊括了北京的自然、政治、经济、文化、社会的各个领域,具有资治、存史、教化等特点,对于北京的文化传承,具有重要作用。
In Beijing,there exist more than one thousand volumes of more than one hundred kinds of old chronicles written before the Republic of China.They are important presentations of ancient Beijing culture.New chronicles have been edited,such as Beijing Chronicles and the 18 chronicles of Beijing districts and counties,amounting to more than 10 billion words,containing rich historical materials of Beijing,covering such areas as nature,politics,economy,culture and society of the city.They are of highly importance in the inheritance of Beijing culture with the characteristics of chronicles,history and education.
