The manufacturing technique development of pure cadmium industrialization was represented and the new technology of electric heating special steel tower-type continuous rectification was introduced. The tower-type rectification was compared with the vacuum distillation based on the practice of production and pointed out that the tower-type continuous rectification had some merits such as short flow, handling convenience, the product quality stabilization, the metal returns-ratio high, little pollution and low cost. This enables it to have a promising prospect.
