古代私人藏书家中的目录学家

Bibliographers among the Ancient Bibliophiles

藏书是目录的基础,藏书家中出现众多的目录学家也是一个不争的事实。然而,前人在对我国古代私家藏书活动进行分类时,却疏忽了设有专门的"目录学家类",这不能不说是一件憾事。应该为历史上在目录学方面作出突出贡献的藏书家细分专类,以彰其功,肯定他们在目录学理论与实践上的发挥的巨大作用。

Collection of books is the basis of compiling catalogues and many bibliographers are bibliophiles themselves. However, it is a shame that bibliographers are not included as a class in the previous classification of book collection activities. So a special class should be set up for the bibliophiles who contributed much to bibliography to commend their merits and acknowledge their great role in the theoretical study and application of bibliography.
