Tungsten Matrix Composites Strengthened with TiC and ZrC Particles at Elevated Temperature

摘要 用粉末冶金热压法制备TiCP/W和ZrCP/W两种钨基复合材料,对其高温强度进行了研究,结果表明:随着温度提高,两种复合材料的抗弯强度开始时逐渐提高;当TiCP/W复合材料达到1000℃时有最大值1155MPa,ZrCP/W复合材料在800℃时有最大值829MPa,分别比各自的室温强度提高57%和17%。而后,随温度的进一步提高,复合材料的强度又下降。分析了复合材料高温增强的机理。 The investigation on the high temperature strength of these tungsten matrix composites,30%TiC P/W and 30%ZrC P/W fabricated by using powder metallurgy method involving hot pressing,shows that with increasing temperature,the flexural strength of these composites increased firstly,and as the temperature further increased,the strength of these composites decreased.The highest strength of TiC P/W composite was 1 155MPa reached at 1 000℃,which was 57% higher than that at room temperature,and the highest strength of ZrC P/W composite was 829MPa appeared at 800℃,which was 17% higher than that at room temperature.The strengthening mechanism at elevated temperature was given out.
