外商直接投资对区域经济增长的贡献度——以四川省为例

The Contribution of FDI to Regional Economic Growth——Taking Sichuan Province for Example

外商直接投资可以通过资本弥补效应、就业创造效应、技术扩散效应和产业结构优化效应四条途径促进东道国的经济增长。以四川省1993-2005的数据对该省的外商直接投资通过上述途径对经济增长的贡献度作实证分析,文章认为要增加外商直接投资的贡献度,就必须消除阻碍上述四条途径充分发挥作用的措施,并创造条件增加所吸引外资的数量、提高所吸引外资的质量。

Foreign direct investment can promote the host country＇s economic growth in four ways of additional capital effect, job creation effect, technology diffusion effect and effect of industrial structure optimization. By a positive analysis of the contribution FDI has made through the above four means to Sichuan＇s economic growth on the basis of the data from 1993 - 2005 in Sichuan Province, this article believes it is necessary to eliminate obstacles to give full play the role of above - mentioned four ways, to create conditions for attracting more and better foreign investment so as to improve the contribution of FDI.
