文化视角的翻译方法研究

Study on Translation Methods from the Perspective of Culture

作为一种跨文化活动,翻译涉及两种完全不同文化之间的信息转换。从风俗习惯、历史、地理和宗教四个方面分析了东西方国家在文化方面的差异。在文化差异分析的基础上提出了四种翻译策略,即直译、等值翻译、意译、直译和意译相结合。这种文化视角的翻译方法对英语学习者在翻译过程中将有所启迪。

As a kind of cross- cultural activities, translation involves information conversion between two completely different cultures. The article analyzes the differences of eastern and western cultures from custom, history, geography, and religion. On the basis of cultural difference analysis, it brings forth four translation strategies, namely literal translation, equivalent translation, free translation, and literal translation plus free translation.
