Under the background of cuhural diversity, the ideological and political work of college stu- dents in universities and colleges faces the effective challenge. Strengthening humanistic concern and help- ing college students develop comprehensively , freely fully is the foundation and prerequisite of the ideolog- ical and political work of college students. From the theoretical and practical level, the rationality and ne- cessity of the humanistic concern for the college students will be demonstrated. Based on this, the paper discusses the ways to the humanistic concern for the ideological and political work of the college students.
