目的论关照下的外宣翻译——以“中国·上海”为例

On Translation of Foreign Publicity:a Skopostheorie Perspective

翻译目的论认为,翻译是一种语言交际行为。翻译行为所要达到的目的决定整个翻译行为的过程,即"目的决定手段"(the end justifies the means)。以"中国·上海"这一网站为例,笔者发现网站外宣翻译现存的两点问题:语言错误和可读性差。同时提出目的论指导下从事网站外宣翻译的几点建议,以期更好地发挥网站的对外宣传作用。

In Skopostheorie, translating is regarded as an activity of linguistic communication.The whole process of translating activity should be decided by certain ＂end＂, which indicates that the end justifies the means in Skopostheorie. This article takes the website ＂China＂ Shanghai as an example, and finds the following two errors： linguistic errors and lack of readability. And how to play the role of translation of foreign publicity better will also be touched in this article.
