Ventilation and smoke-exhausting is an important way to improve the environment of tunnel construction. Taking the inlet portion of tunnel 2, highway 5 in the traffic engineering of two estuaries of Yalong River in Ganzi prefecture of Sichuan for an example, this paper calculates and selects equipments for the ventilation and smoke-exhausting plan of the tunnel construction.
