中国特色社会主义理论体系是在坚持辩证唯物主义和历史唯物主义的基本观点和根本立场的基础上,对中国社会主义建设的实际进行实事求是地分析和判断,并深刻地反映了当今时代的特征和历史发展趋势的基础上产生、形成和发展起来的。同时,中国特色社会主义理论体系又是一个开放的理论体系,它会随着社会主义建设实践的推进以及世界政治经济科技文化的发展而不断丰富。这一理论体系的形成发展过程遵循了从实践到认识,再从认识到实践,如此实践、认识、再实践、再认识,循环往复,以至无穷,实践和认识之每一循环,都进入到对高级认识运动基本规律的较好把握。

The theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics came into being, formed and developed out of adhering to the dialectical materialism and historical materialism and a down-to-earth analysis and judgement of the actualities of Chinese socialism construction as well as the profound reflections of the current epocal features and historical development trends. Meanwhile as an open theoretical system, the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics is sure to develop and to be enriched along with the promotion of socialist practice and the development of the world politics, economy, science and technology and culture. The developing process of this theoretical system has followed the process of repeating itself in endless circles from practice to cognition and vice versa. But each repeat ,in endless circles between practice and cognition has observed the basic law of cognition from a lower level to a higher stage.
