大学中存在着各种由两个互相关联的元素组成的双元性对应关系,通过对这些双元性对应关系的分析,可以更好地把握大学的组织结构、基本职能、活动方式等主要特征,加强对大学系统的认识。本文着重分析了大学中教师与学生、人才培养与科学研究、学术组织与行政组织、精英文化与大众文化、科学教育与人文教育等五组典型的双元性对应关系,从一个新的切入点对大学进行了解读。

There are lots of paired factors in the university. Analyzing these paired factors, we could better understand the main features in a university such as structure, function, style, and even the whole collegial system. This article mainly analyzes the paired factors such as teacher vs student, teaching vs research, academic association vs administration, elite culture vs mass culture, scientific ed- ucation vs humanity education. This offers a new perspective to understand how the university works.
