元典教学的价值与困境

The Value of and Difficulties in "Teaching the Canon"

元典教学是一个极具价值的教育思想,它让人们清楚地知道,我们的教育究竟哪里出了问题,该如何去解决这些问题。元典教学不仅具有长期效应,其短期效果也是"看得见,摸得着"的。但教师元典素养的欠缺和学生元典素养的薄弱,让元典教学不可避免地陷入困境。作为教师,有些我们无法改变,有些却可以立刻去改变,比如轻视教学的态度和漠视元典的眼神。

The ideal of 'Teaching the Canon' is an invaluable asset,for it could help us better understand the problems with our education and find out solution to them hereafter.'Teaching the Canon' is not only effective in the long run,but also produces tangible effects in the short run.However,the lack of cannon literacy among both teachers and students has inevitably made it rather difficult to implement 'Teaching the Canon'.In this condition,though as teachers,we can’t solve all the problems,there is still something we could do right now to make a difference,for instance,devoting more attention to our teaching and attaching more importance to the Canon.
