The paper reports the applied results of the high density electrical method on the expressway reconnaissance in the karst area according to some engineering examples. Based on the landform, geology and physical property of the surveyed area and the proven results of geophysical and drilling exploration, the paper presents the distributional regularities and distinguishing marks of anomalous values detected by the high density electrical method in the karst sector of the surveyed area.
