The private enterprises have become an important force in the international mergers and acquisitions, and the main motivation for cross-border mergers and acquisitions of private enterprises is as follows: resources-seeking, trade alternative, market expanding, technology obtaining, brand acquisition, network weaving etc. Therefore the outbreak of the U.S. financial crisis provides a better opportunity for the cross-border mergers and acquisitions of private enterprises, while private enterprises should seize the opportunities to find suitable acquisition targets promoting their own growth.
