This paper describes a new,potential regenerate cellulose fiber -Lyocell fiber. It is reputed as the green fiber of 21st century. The spinnlng process is of no harmful to the en vironment. It has excellent mechanical propertles and a distinctive fibrillation property.Its dyeing and finishing properties are emphasized.
