美缅关系改善的现状、动因及前景

Improvement of US-Burma Relations,its Driving force and its Prospect

美缅关系曾长期紧张,近期却明显回暖。两国改善关系各有考虑:美认识到制裁效果甚微,反而将缅甸推向中国等亚洲国家;缅想借奥巴马政府上台之机,争取美放松对其制裁与施压,并承认2010年大选结果。不过,两国关系要有实质性提升仍面临困难。美仍认为缅存在民主、人权问题,而缅对美疑惧心理也短期难消。

US-Burma relations is warming up in spite that it had long been tense in the past. Such an improvement resulted from practical considerations of both sides. The US has realized that the sanctions are hardly worked and pushed Burma to China and other Asian countries instead,while Burma wanted to make the best use of the change of government in the US to make it relax the sanctions and reduce the pressure on Burma and recognize Burma's 2010 election results.
