后殖民语境下的复译被赋予重新翻译弱势民族的优秀文化遗产的历史使命,让西方世界了解真正的他者文化。它一方面以追寻文化的原始生态为宗旨,另一方面又以推进解殖民进程为己任。通过复译,对"操控"式翻译进行"反操控",以恢复历史和原初文化的多义性和复杂性。

Since the 20th century, translation study has turned its way from the linguistic internal research to the external research related to culture, politics and ideology. This article will mainly place the retranslation under the post-colonial perspective, analyze the significance of retranslation in reshaping the cultural identity of the Third World, then probe the weak cultural complex into how to use retranslation to promote the decolonization process.
