摘要 文章旨在用隐喻认知这个视角度来丰富大学英语阅读技巧的多重适用性。首先明确地提出了亚里士多德、理查兹及莱考夫等语言学家对于隐喻理论的本质和精髓;接着从修辞学和语义学这两个维度对隐喻认知在大学英语阅读教学中的技巧应用及重要性进行了详尽的阐述;最后对隐喻认知理论在大学英语阅读教学中的未来的前景作以展望。 The paper aims at reinforcing the practicability and applicability of college English reading teaching from the view of cognition of metaphor. Firstly the essence of metaphor was mentioned accurately from such linguists as Aristotle, Richards and Lakoff. Then how to put metaphor into practice in C E R T was discussed in details from two perspectives of rhetoric and semantics. Ultimately, the prospective and practical function of the relevance theory in the future was supposed to be suggested.
